As far as I can see now , activity in this site is so minimum , I hardly see any posts or update and it is the same old people . What does this shows? This site will die soon if we don't something to hire / recruit more people here. Most people from the past is gone and we need more people over here to keep the cycle going. It's just like a foodweb , we just lost one of our animals in the food chain. We need to get them back fast before it goes dead. Wc3jass seems more dead though.. |

It's not like this doesn't come up every three months or so... |

is that the reason why you create two threads ?? |

Look at things this way: you can whine about it, or you can contribute to the community and keep the blood flowing. We are *not* dead, 531 active members is not dead by any definition. We will not be dead whilever we have 531 active members to contribute to the highest quality resources of any wc3 modding community. We will not be dead whilever we have 531 active members to support and critique new and upcoming artists and coders. We will not be dead whilever we have 531 active members assisting the most anticipated maps and mods in the wc3 community. We will not be dead in 2009 - not on my watch. We have a reputation to uphold. ON YOUR FEET, SOLDIER. There's modding to do. |

How old is Warcraft III at this point? It's hardly suprising this site is a bit slow. Besides, while you're posting you're not modding. |

WC3Jass as been dead for a long time. As for worrying about attracting members... Who gives a shit? Either people will continue to mod the game, or they won't. If they want to continue, the site is still here... |

The knockback issues were different , the first thread problem has been solved. Also , I found out that there is a huge amount of guest here as compared to registered users. |

Around 200-300 users have probably just created an account to be able to search or started a thread in Map/Campaign Projects /Map Testing / Map Testing and then abandoned their thread. 50-100 people are posting/reading in Triggers & Scripts 10-50 users are old timers who post in Site Discussion / Off Topic 10-50 users are posting/reading in General Development The rest of the users are spread out in the other parts. |

well, and there's rl aswell... those "active" members can't check the forum all the time and spend their time on modding all day! |

Here's more quality than quantity (including the number of user online), and while there's 1 user asking and 1 user responding, then the site will be active. |

wc3jass has been dead for a number of years Quote:

(2 Topics? And I picked the one less traveled) Maybe that's the point? Wc3C as a modding site is on it's last legs (kinda), but the site will live on as a meeting place for veterans-become-friends as the years go on. (Translation: all the cool kids live in Off-Topic now) Also, I resent that! I'm totally almost done with some of my modding projects! ... No, really!! ... Stop laughing! |
