Fallen Baroness and her Fallen Unicorn Model by: Dan van Ohllus (aka Kuhneghetz) Character description: Once was a happy and noble beauty until she was slaughtered by a deathknight and raised as an undead form by a necromancer. The fallen baroness is exceptional at attracting male victims with her enchanting voice. She can also strike a victim by her sword and by deadly magic. The fallen unicorn was once a magical creature who wanders in hidden forests until the Fallen Baroness corrupted it to an undead beast for a need of a steed. Models included: Fallen Baroness (mounted version) Fallen Baroness (unmounted version) Fallen Unicorn Model & texture facts: The Baroness and sword was done by scratch. Horse/unicorn was based on Chaos Warlord. Shield was based on Chaos Warlock. An external portrait model is included (with animations from the Bandit portrait) for the Fallen Baroness (both versions). Texture is mostly done by scratch except for some team colors and the part on the horse's behind, which is a minor recolor. Icons are included. The mounted Fallen Baroness and the Fallen Unicorn uses Chaos Warlord animations with extra transferred stuffs. The unmounted Fallen Baroness uses Demoness animations with a custom dissipate and extra transferred animations. YOU MUST GIVE ME CREDITS IF YOU USE THESE MODELS IN YOUR MAP!!! Texture is pretty well fine, the shield could have been done with a bit better consideration to the wrap (no excuses here, since you made the model :P). The torso and upper legs almost seem underdetailed in a way. Not a big deal, but some epic armor there would be really kickass xD. I really like the sword and the horse. Oh and if you ever feel so inclined, would you consider an intact-mouthed version? I mean, the missing jaw is cool and all but damn it is creeping me out. The model has some issues in proportioning. Her head is a bit too round, making it look unfeminine. Can't recommend much more than studying some wc3 female portraits and adjusting the proportions more along those lines. Grats on repairing the bloody Warlord model, it always pissed me off that the horse's chest broke open when he ran :P Also, dude, you can't put that much detail into her figure and *not* make a riderless version :D |

Rhetorical question? |

But maybe I'll make an intact-mouted version as an extra skin someday. Quote:

The majority of this texture has been created from scratch (wacom and brushes ftw), and some parts of the skin has been reused from my freehanded parts (such as the skulls and the hair parts). It's not against the rules to reuse something that's made by your own, right? RIGHT? The only non-freehand parts are the thing on the horse's behind, and the horse's teamcolors (minus it's glowing eyes). |

The head is really creepy. I hate creepy things. :( I'm not convinced by the pony-tail; it's not very Warcrafty. Perhaps something larger and more boistrous? Not that there's much in the way of references, I suppose; but it seems so slim and small that it's a detail that will be completely lost in-game. I certainly didn't realise it was there until I took a close look. |

I've attached a pic where I've made her pony-tail longer and thicker, but I haven't uploaded it yet because I want to know if that change satisfies your desire. =) |
