Problem with exporting

Hi, im new to modeling and im using Gmax. I just cant figure out how to save files as .mdl/x using Gmax. Ive checked Magos' tutorial and i tried using the exporter script but i dont understand how to save it as .mdl/x. Any help will be greatly apreciated.

there is an export script by blink boy on www.hiveworkshop.com, which makes everything a bit easier, maybe that helps?
