Trap
Vestras - 2009 Fuck yeah. It's a hunting trap. Mesh, animations and unwrap made from scratch in 3D Studio Max 5 with Blizzard Art Tools. Texture made from scratch in Adobe Photoshop CS. I started working on the model April 2nd 2009. I finished the model April 4th 2009. The texture isn't very visible ingame, so if anyone wants to make a better one, tell me! :) (I can't make one myself, the texture is very old and I don't got PS anymore) Importing instructions is in the .zip. Special thanks to Artificial for doing me a little favor when making the model. Thanks Arti <3 Give credit when using. Enjoy! |

Definitely needs a new texture, a slate of grey like that (especially considering how light it is) looks bad in-game. However, the model itself is quite nice. Simple, yet effective. |

Can't you map it to something in-game? I'm sure there are plenty of grey metal sections that would fit nicely, add some kind of visual interest. I don't think a completely untextured model can be approved. |

I looked through the .mpq but there were none proper (IMO) textures for my purpose. It's not untextured, the texture just isn't very visible <.< |

Needs a better texture and, technically, has waaay too many polygons for such a little model. |

Thats quite a bit of Polys, why not use a weapon texture for it? |

Going to go ahead and move this to some WIP forum area thing until you've worked on it a bit. In its current state, it's just unapprovable. |
