Guest | I did some spell editing: 1 i copied the chain lightning 2 edited it(the copy) to a ultimate spell 3 edited the humanabilityfunc.txt and humanabilitystrings.txt 4 added them all to c:\Warcraft III\Units\ But it did not work cause i see a icon of a stupid guy and i clicked the "learn ability icon" but the hero did not learn it what did i wrong? P.S. i took ACcl as alias and uberalias and did NOT change the second row named code. |

This way you're using the "direct file patching", wich will only work if you enable it on the registry, using W3Config. You can also add those files to a MPQ (either your map or war3patch.mpq). |

Guest | Also note that Heros can only learn 4 spells - you may be trying to have him/her learn 5. It won't work, I've tried. |
