Is there a certain text file i can edit to change the max doodads? I'd rather not anyone refer me to using a third party program for this. I would really just like to edit the WE script and expand it's doodad limit. Also, what other limits can i edit in this text file or other text files? Thanks everyone! |

you have to change the memory location to a different value i believe, i dont think the doodad limit is set in WE scripts, well if it is, I haven't found it. But since Stoned-Stoopid's prog only depends on the program titlebar, i believe its memory location based |

There is no way to do it through any file editing. The value is compiled into the game. The way i change is to remove the check all together, its a compilicated process finding what to change in memory and would prob take me 6000+ words to explain all the concepts behind "DMA Code Injection", if your intrested search on google. As to kiether, not sure why it's not working, it has worked for everyone else. You said it was working before right? Well the program can't break :) Something else on your computer changed thats causing it to not work, and the only thing you could really do was a fresh install of your entire pc. |
