Question/trick i might have discovered

I've been looking into how to keep items out of the marketplace and i think i found a neat way to keep them out. I think that if i change an items category to miscellaneous i might be able to keep it from showing up in the marketplace when another item from it's old category is dropped by a creep. Will this do what i think it's suppose to do? Would just changing the include as random choice option to false keep an item from showing up in the marketplace too?

Fyi i know the remove as random choice option works and i think that changing the item's type would work too because I'm pretty sure the marketplace drops any item of the same level and type of any item that could have dropped from a creep that was killed. +rep me!
