Please read the Map Submission Rules and make sure your first post follows them. You will need a previous image and to change the thread title to include the number of players the map supports.

Hey Dusk, do you think it's at all possible to have Vex code into the posting system for this section a "I have fully read and understand the map submission rules and my post complies with its standards.", and if their submission doesn't follow it we can do kind of a "you agreed and lied" sort of thing?

Or would that do nothing...?

Apart from senior member, it seems like only 1 person was capable to follow submission rules while the rest... failed....

It was a good idea. If they do not follow the rules, their thread can be graveyard immediately.

I apologize, I read the rules, but missed the part apparently that said how to put in a preview image or I would of done so. As well as the number part.

I will update it as well.

Edit: Can't change the actual title to (4) then the name, could a moderator do it for me?

Dear God. I can't believe I actually tested that. The game was nowhere near done and I had seriously spent 2 hours and 12 minutes on it with my friends. I'd like to point out that the war thing at the very end was perhaps the laggiest thing I have ever experienced in WC3 to date. That says something. There were so many special effects, so many millions of damage being thrown around, so many instantdeath spells and so much more that just overwhelmed me.

The map is just too much. You can't possibly argue that having +350 all stat items is good design. All of the spells were straight blizzard spells, the cinematic sequences were wonky and off and not tested thoroughly (there were several errors in countless of them), and worst of all you turned the map into propaganda for the bloody catholic church. You seriously spent entire cinematics talking about God and having Talroy basically give his bloody testimonial in cinematic-form. Now I have nothing against you believing what you want, but I was sick after seeing it get so much airtime in the map. I cannot approve anything that does that for reasons that are hopefully obvious.

And about the bosses having triggered AI and so forth. Many of them were just generic on-life event things and weren't smooth at all. Having a really big blizzard spell on an archimonde boss that deals 8k DPS isn't really conducive of good boss design, trust me. The worst was that bloody dragon at the war part that had some 40k lightning bolt spell that instakilled any hero it shot. I mean really, come on, at least make an effort to balance the map.

I can't see this being approved in its current state what with the imbalance, the poor cinematic structure, the absolute length of the game (2 hours plus easy), the lackluster boss development (really, 10k feedback on attack...), the horrific lag due to spam of enemy units and spam of special effects (particularly during the war level), the very underdeveloped story (I mean, it wasn't engrossing at all), and finally the total disregard for original heroes and items.

Moved to the maps and campaigns section for further development.

It's possible to beat, if you take too long during the war to kill the main boss(Seraoak), then the dragon will spawn, you have basically till wave 10 to clear the boss, or it's pretty much game over. I don't have a problem with the lag at all during the war(As in 0 lag).

If you have the proper gear, during the war it can be a near-breeze, just gotta save up gold and collect as much gold as possible, and give gold to eachother so you can keep eachother geared up. I've done the entire map solo with each character around 30+ times, I know it seems hard, but its one of those games where it takes time to learn what moves and strategies work best etc.

The mana burn is designed to balance out Liou's mana shield, as later on with the right items, you can have unlimited mana/with an invulnearable shield basically. I'm no Catholic, just sharing my faith is all, and it's completely optional, you can actually avoid going into the water and avoiding the scene entirely if it's too much for you. And it also actually ties into the storyline later on if you get further into it, as well as providing benefits, nothing in this game is for no reason at all =).

The Bosses are designed where you need a specific strategy to beat them, for example Bronara you need to kite, and avoid getting hit, or tank her with Dregon, and heal with Talroy while hitting her from a distance. So like I said, it's balanced trust me, I've had my friends play it solo before(if anything, it's easier with more people), I appologize for the lag you are experiencing, there is nothing that can be done about it, it's all in your computers memory or something like that, mine handles the map with little to no lag.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the map, but thank you for the feedback anyways, I appreciate it. =)

Edit: Forgot to mention, the further you progress the more special effects, and things like that are added on, it's kinda like an Anime in that regard, your characters were actually really close to getting ultimates. Also this includes heroes, and items.
