Hello; I am trying out a new supply system using corpses for an undead race in my map. I notice that whenever the food used exceeds the food cap, (for example, when I have 20 food used but only 10 food supplied: 20/10), the text in this field changes from white to red on the player's screen in upper right hand corner of the user interface - this is the field that appears right after gold and lumber to display food for players normally, if that helps. Anyway, all I'd like to know is if or not it would be possible to prevent the text in this field from turning red whenever the food used exceeds the food cap. Please let me know if you have any ideas or answers, as I've tried a few ideas already with no luck. Thanks! |

This is a good example of how to ask for help. I don't even know or care (sorry) what he's doing, but the topic makes me want to help. That being said, sorry, I can't help. :P All I can think of would be to go into Advanced - Gameplay Constants (or "Advanced" something...), and find the color code for that part of the UI. However, you've probably already found that (if it exists). |

What are you using the number '10' for? If it's possible for you to remove it, displaying a normal 20 (without the /#) makes it white instead of red, but you probably already know that. |

I apologize for taking so long to get back to this topic, but I'm afraid that all of you were right - there isn't a solution available (that I could find). I ended up changing the field to something else and using the Upkeep box to display different numbers of corpses at different intervals. Thank you for trying to help me though; I will be certain to rep all of you whenever the site decides to let me rep people again :) |
