Since I'm no professional at terraining, don't take these points to be necessarily true or correct.

Human City: Outside looks too flat, also needs more props.
Orc Capital: The distant outposts look like they're floating (can't tell, bad angle) and inside the fortress seems to plain. Buildings are too squished together and the middle has nothing.
Human City 2: Again flat and needs more props. There seems to be too many arches in the middle, and the river is kind of too straight.
Undead Base: Ice path looks too weird even if "mages created them", and once again, too flat, needs more props.
Troll City: Flat. Could use slightly more props around the middle road section.

Overall I think it's a good start but needs more variation.

Alright.

From what I see it'll be a Risk'esque game or something like Wars of Warcraft, strategic et cetera, etc.

Instead of using cliffs, though they are useful, they are a bit nasty unless you use them correctly. I also note if this is a war game, the terrain must be heavily varying because if this entire map is nearly flat, why have a war on it? There are no strategic locations! You can take a look at Archian's project, the terrain is simple and nice but almost every city/town/castle has some sort of strategic value.

Ex: The first city has some value for having a single entrance I suppose. If lumber is a resource, it has lots of wood which is nice. It is all to flat though. Even PLATEAUS aren't that flat :P.

Ex2: The orc city has high ground but it's simply on top of the hill. I hope the orcs found a better place because those towers wouldn't provide a great defense at the bottom of the hill unless they had 1400 range or something. You could at little paths along the side of the base that lead to the top of the hill. That way, towers could have a lot more time to pick off units and if you were good enough or the enemy was dumb enough, you could even corner them in these paths! >:O

Hope that helps some what. Also, your paths are nasty, snow doesn't fall perfect so there would be some snow on the ice, some snow showing from under the snow and dirt et cetera...! :O

[edit; Fix those props like Anopob says and those hills are quite steep! What unit can scale that! Most humans can without tools of some sort and orcs... are... orcs.]

But he is showcasing his map's terrain so he could either use PNG or JPG. JPG for unit shots and PNGs for showing us some terrain!
