I have never tried this on, and at the moment i dont have the computer to run it on, but I wanted to ask what UMSWE is like.
  • how does it look ? ( few screenshots plz )
  • What kind of things can be done with UMSWE that can't be done with the normal WE ?
  • Are there any other editors beside UMSWE & the normal WE that can be uses to edit ?

I hope some people can help me out

looks just like regular WE

it adds many new trigger actions/events/conditions and variable types, and allows more flexability in the unit editor

Zephir's editor is the other good one

Personally I liked how he included .txt files of the models, icons, etc. so I could quickly reference them. There are numerous things added in it, although I really haven't used many of them. I also experienced some trouble when I tried to use the Destroy Trigger action, because the map wouldn't save correctly when I used it, so I removed that.

I do like how there are many more presets available in the pull downs, so knowing the exact string isn't always required. You can also edit sizes of doodads to some insane dimensions, although I'd suggest not using this feature while constructing the initial portions of your map as you'll need to turn off doodad scaling. It helps for the final stages though.

It also includes quite a few things most other editors have, such as revealing hidden units, and allowing for you to add the file path for models, etc (which is really neccessary for my maps).

Overall I would suggest getting it.
