Map Loading Error

Hey all. My brother was working on a map, and it seems that now he cannot open it. It gives him the error


Unfortunately, he was not savvy and didn't save any backups. What does this really mean, and is there a way to get in there and rectify the issue (or something)?

you might be lucky ...check out that war3testmap ..blah thing, maybe it still "contains" a working copy of that map (if your brothers map was the last map tested with the testmap function)

if no other map has been openet, the worldedittestmap might be the solution.

Also, ther eis a slight chnace it could be repaired.

If the above solution doesn't work, try opening it with this.
Maybe you can extract most of your (brother's) object and trigger data to import into a new map. Re-terraining could be a huge drag, though.

Edit: Perhaps terrain could be extracted with this...

There was no terrain; it was a custom race he was working on (*sniff* I'm so proud :P). Thanks for the link.
