>>Isn't this town hall a bit too below the other forums. This was my first visit & I was thinking that wc3c had forgotten the site discussion forum.

>>Am I mistaken or the map section contains only 33 maps? I had heard on Hive that this site is a good one (Agreed that it better looking than Hive). So are there really only 33 maps on this site or I missed some place? Can anyone tell me?

Thanks for reading this post.

1. maybe
2. There are only 33 approved maps. We never really cared for quantity.

Yeah, 33 approved maps. Quality > Quantity here. Although there's plenty of active discussions about maps around here for you to take a look at.

I like that. But where are the maps placed before they get approved.

They go here before being approved. Usually it takes a considerable amount of time to be approved, due to all the checks for quality in the map's fun, playability and other checks (lag, bugs and whatnot). Also note that there are a great deal of rules posting a map has to have in the submission post that have to be followed and guidelines that are highly suggested/compulsory to carry out.

If you want to see how many maps have ever been submitted, check out the graveyard. That forum has a titanic quantity of things that simply weren't good enough for the database. (Granted, it's an accumulation of all rejected resources, but still)

No, this is just so we can make sure you're not a spammer. We're quick about it, and after you get 10 rep or are around for like a month it automatically approves. I think there's also a post count you can reach to bypass it, but I always forget.
