Hi man I am kind of new here i didnt know where to post this so i posted it in here. Man i want to make a map something like a fight from Homm3 where every unit has a limited movement and attack and the circles of power indicates where to move. I want to know what u ppl think about this type of game i didnt sow it in other maps. Is something like Warchess, will be a turn based game. Start the map from the editor and Select the Revenant or the Spider there, only they have the system for now. I have placed some Footmans in order to test something from the system. In order to work u must be player 1 and attack player 2. Tell my what u think about this kind of game is something different i think. I think it worths a 5 min test. The main challenge of turn-based games on battle.net is gameplay flow. If someone goes AFK, it kills the experience. Perhaps model the "dynamic battle" mechanic from HOMM5, where time limits are placed? My turn-based final fantasy-like battle system is actually quasi-turn based considering that the speed of the player's actions matter just as much as the wait bar. It seems to work well for me, so possibly something similar might be an option for you. |

Man if i try my map from single player is ok but if i try it from multi is bugged like the triggers are fukt. I dont understand why it should't be like this. Maybe the multi has bugs coz i have exported the data to another map and it had less errors on multiplayer. On single player what i did so far works fine... |
