The Sound Editor > Interesting Edits?

Hello again General Development,

Every so often the mood strikes me and I will experiment with the pitch effect for the various unit responses in the sound editor; I wondered if anyone else here did the same on occasion and wondered if you came across anything interesting that you would not mind sharing with the rest of the community.

I'll start by saying that BansheeDeath, BansheeYesAttack1, and BansheeYesAttack3 (found under Units>Undead>Banshee) are three of my favorites; the lower you set the pitch, the creepier these sounds become (especially YesAttack1, which sounds strangely masculine; recommend setting the pitch to around 0.5-to 0.7 by the way). I'd imagine that these two would work well for the voice of a disembodied villain or as general ambiance in a map intended to have a 'creepy' atmosphere.

That's really all that comes to mind at the moment, but if I can remember any more later I will certainly post them here.

EDIT:
BansheeGhostYes1 under Units>Creeps>BansheeGhost seems as though it would make a perfect way to simulate distanced and tormented moaning in a dungeon or haunted forest setting too, by the way, provided the pitch is lowered to around 0.5.

Hidden information:
howl of terror sound w/ < 1.00 pitch = a long guttural-sounding "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"! (treebeard ents LOTR, etc)

any sound with high pitch = chipmunk

yeah, ghosts sounds also provide some effectively creepy moans.
