-Repick?

Could you add a repick feature for like the first minute? It would help when playing with noobs.

I am convinced that if a person is stupid enough to pick the 'wrong' hero once, they will do so again. (And then likely leave anyways) I've never liked the prospect of a repick because it doesn't really do anything to fix a problem, it just lets the player make the same mistake multiple times.

if a new player picks a hero, and they later realize to be succesful in that specific game they should have gone another route, it would allow them to do so

stupidity is not often a factor when selecting heroes poorly, more often its inexperience - a repick should really only be needed in such situations, repicking otherwise is lame - however, discerning these instances isn't easy

If they later discover this, then it's most often too late for a repick. (ie. The first level's already started) See, in my experience, if a user knows that they are inexperienced, but yet has the capacity to be intelligent and wants to contribute to the game, they will ask others in the game "Who should I pick?" If they pick randomly, hoping for the best, then a repick would be senseless since they'd just do it again.

I agree, which is in part why I take a stance and stick with it. You either like repick or you don't, really.

Oh yes also numbers above the hero's heads indicating how many of that hero have been picked would be a great addition, and help address the problem of too many of one hero being picked, maybe making a repick unnecessary.

There's already a multiboard that shows which heroes were picked by the players, which is imo a far better solution than (ugly) floating text numbers.

Yes with tiny little icons that you can barely see and have to count. Floating text isn't necessarily ugly, it can always be very small little numbers.
