Assigning Texture Problem

Hey all whats up, I am having some trouble with this texture UVW on the model I currently threw together. I made a stairway model in 3DS Max 2009 I used two ingame textures. I assigned them to the model and did UVW on all the models everything looks great in 3DS Max. When I export using NeoDex then open in notepad to change the filepaths save as mdl then convert to mdx. When I open in Magos everything looks great but the stairs which looked like they havent been unwrapped at all. What could be the problem?
