For some reason when I try to run AMAI SE exe i get error: Unable to locate the Target to patch. Here is some info: Laptop Vista Warcraft TFT patch 1.21 I am NOT using perl. All of the exe's give same error. I tryed Folders: Maps, AI and Warcraft III. |

same. since i have the current 1.23.6352 patch i use warcraft version changer to revert to 1.21. no luck still doesnt work. i use windows 7 RC. |

Sounds like its an error occuring when warcraft 3 is not properly "installed" but just a folder copied to the computer, so there is no registry entry with path to the game on the computer. All .exe versions of AMAI works fine for me with latest 1.23 War3 |

hmmm zals right that sounds like the usual culprit. But it could also be a UAC issue? You could try running the AMAI exe with admin priveledges. If that dosn't work. Have you installed warcraft 3 in C:\Program Files\ because i recommend you install games to directories other than C:\Program Files\ on Vista and 7 so you can bypass the UAC that can mess with modding in most games due to the virtulization of the folder system (i,e non admin privledge exe's access a duplicate seperate file system from the real file system). |
