you know how mirror image works in Valley of Descent, where the images do a percent of your damage? How do you do this? Is this already part of the ability? Once again I looked at the OrcAbilityString.txt description and all it says is that it makes Data11 images at first level, Data21 images second level, and Data31 images third level. However, the other three data slots/level (i.e. Data12, 13, 14) all have values as well. I don't know what these do, tho. Could someone look in Excel or something (which I don't have) and tell me what these other 3 data slots do? thanks, fr0ggE |

Damage is in Data12, Data22, and Data32. It needs to be in decimal form. .05 = 5% base damage. Keep in mind that this spell is very powerful for a few reasons: 1) dispels all magic effects 2) creates meat shields 3) could do a lot of damage with a high data12 I added 5%, 10%, and 15% damage to my mirror image, but made the images take 3x damage (Data13, 23, 33) to balance it. I realize that this spell is very powerful. In Valley of Dissent, get the demon tricker, buy the powerful weapons (apelu +45 damage, gun +32 damage) and you KICK ***. Buildings DIE HORRIBLY. It will be balanced, believe me. What do Data13 and Data14 do? Guess: 13--> percent damage you take? 14--> pecent attack speed? fr0ggE |

frOggE doesn't have excel :gsmile:. But yeah: Data 11, 21 and 31 determines how many images are created. Data 12, 22 and 32 determines how much damage each mirror does as a percentage of the blademaster's. Data 13, 23 and 33 determines how much damage each mirror recieves compared to the blademaster. If you set the value to 10, then whenever the mirror is it, it take 10x the amount of damage the blademaster would if he had been hit. Data 14, 24 and 34 determine how many seconds to wait while the spell animation is playing. ~kharma |
