Smooth way to blend cliff types?

Is there any such thing? It appears that mixing cliff types is buggy as hell but maybe I'm just missing something.

Edit: aww damn wrong forum. Force of habit I guess. Sorry!

A good terrainer doesn't even use cliffs, you can create artificial cliffs by creating steep slopes, which have unpathable terrain on them.

At the cost of no effect on gameplay, unlike real cliffs.

Doesn't quite work for the barrens theme imo (why would someone want to make a barrens terrain you might ask: well I don't have much of a choice). You just don't get those layered cliffs you get with blizzard's cliffs. Used that slope method on a ashenvale terrain though and that one turned out awesome. Some unwalkable rock tile makes it well playable too.

u can simulate this in several ways.
native wc3 cliffs are just 45 degree terrains with cliff models on them and pathing blocker

we can add the model and/or the pathing blocket with custom cliffs
