Terrain Deformations

Alright after spending like 40 minutes on them and couldn't getting them to work for me, I need help.

Collapse JASS:
call TerrainDeformStop(whichdeform,duration)
doesn't seem to work well spammed.

Collapse JASS:
call TerrainDeformCrater(...parametres) 
// I want it to go instant down and then come back to the originial size smoothly but can't work..

"whichdeform" and "duration" really don't tell me anything. What exactly are your trying to do here?
