Adventurer's Boon
Campaign / Multiplayer maps

~/|\~

Intro: Adventurer's Boon is a series of single player campaign started based on some of my own sketches. Unfortunately, this places me at a disadvantage. You see, I have a hard time keeping a story - and an even harder time picking up names for my characters. I am also further disadvantaged in the JASS department. These are where I'll need the most help (I think I'm "just fine" with the terrain and GUI events.)

Story
Part 1: Typical bad guys destroy good guy's house, good guy chases bad guys, good guy wins... sort of...
Part 2: Person gets kidnapped. Two factions somehow find an excuse to break off and fight each other inside city limits. Small (tiny) rescue force sent to chase something that kidnapped the kidnapped person. Something happens, but what?

For this project, I will need:
  • Programmer (JASS or vJASS)
  • Melee map designer (because this campaign will use my Wc3c entry).
  • Character/Level/Location/Dialog dubber(s)
  • Testers
  • Oh yeah, most of Parts 2 and 3 will need some custom models and textures for heroes. I'll get by with placeholders for now.

I can add a cameo for your favorite character or avatar, IF I can find an excuse to fit them in. Members will gain a link to the Development Pastebin (that I'm half-tempted not to use). To prevent everyone from overworking themselves, I'll be doing stuff like Terrain and GUI triggers. Could I please, please get help? I really want to do this before Warcraft III dies out...

Bump a thread, but I just got to a point in my campaign where I'd need a melee-ish map. (Even though most of the other maps aren't close to being triggered). Basically, the main character of Part 1 has reached a point where he can do a melee type fight. Each of the levels (I'm thinking 3, at least) up to the 2nd part are going to be melee-ish maps... I only ask this because I only have experience with Hero-only type maps (or, overly terrained maps, with trees that do not die).

Also, I shortened the first post a bit.
