Stupid Penguin

This is the first model I posted, opposed to being made, and it looks weird.
I don't know what to with it now, except texture and animate it, which I don't know what to do.

make him look like that. also, apply smoothing groups on his feathers.

It's hard for me to do that, and I wasn't really going for the "natural" look. Also, how do you use smoothing or whatever?

are you using max? if so edit>mesh/poly>face>select all the faces you want to smooth>scroll to the bottom and press one of the numbers.
