Newgen Vista Problem

Ok i asked about this at wc3haven and they told me to ask here.
My friend bens computer uses vista and newgen wont work on his computer can anyone tell me if newgen just isnt compatible or if this is a common problem that can be fixed

It is vista compatable.

whats the error message ? - what happens when he tries to run newgen ?

my newgen/vista problem:
-editor loads without weu and umswe
-weu gives no error message
-umswe gives "Cannot start plugin" error message upon activation and deactivation in the menu

-i fixed a problem where wc3 crashed upon testmap, probably by activation compatibility mode for wc3

I had a problem with JNGP in vista, I solved it by disabling UAC.

what is UAC?

user access control

that thing which pops up and asks for your password, whenever a program tries to change system stuff..

I have newgen and vista and it runs perfectly fine. It would really help if you actually told us what was wrong other than "it doesn't work". That could mean anything from it not loading entirely to crashing periodically to... well, anything.
