I want to make a mere"hero manipulating item" trigger.

When the hero manipulates an item, it triggers something, but I don't want the effect of the item.

For future reference, do not post questions in this pat of the forums. You should post them in the Map Development area. This section is only for posting helpful completed triggers.

Moved it over to the Map Development forum for you. You should be able to get any help you need know, if you haven't gotten it yet.
Thanks

um, yeah, well I tried looking at weaadar's bag demo and apparently my iq isn't over 4, cause it was friggin complicated from where i was sitting. JASS...shudder. Someday I'm going to go back and figure that thing out, and then I'll prolly be a way better map maker afterwards. If you, too, shudder upon viewing his bag demo, then you can use
Item: summon (furbolg, doom guard, fellhound) and then have a trigger that activates when that type of creature enters map, removes that creature from the game and then continues to do whatever it is you actually want the item to do.
