Guest | I don't know how everyone else does terrain... But I like to use Zephir's editor for 90% of my terrain editing. It's waaaaay faster once you learn how to use it. Now, while Zephir's editor is great, it's not perfect and I still like to "finalize" my terrain and add doodads, units, triggers and everything else using USMWE. Well, my problem is that whenever I save in USMWE, all my pathing I did with Zephir's editing goes out the window. And if this isn't a big enough pain in the rear, about 1 out of 3 times, I lose my all the water on my map. Is there any other work-around to this besides simply implanting the Zephir edited terrain (.w3e) and path (.wpm?) file? |

If there is, I don't know it. UMSWE is in essence an extension of WE, hence the reason why it removes the pathing. I use UMSWE first, then Zephirs to finish off with the pathing for that exact reason. But each to their own :). ~kharma |
