well i find this auto attack thingy very annoying :S... it doesn't make me feel like i fully control my char XD so.. how can i disable it.. and allow like creeps or hostile units to keep it.. |

I'm not sure this works, but maybe set the acquisition range to 0 or something lower than the unit's collision radius like 5 or 10? |

peasant classification added runtime? |

Where can i find this acquisition range... and Alevice...Huh? Edit: i found this acquisition range, but no.. first for ranged units, it makes them go meele XD they start running to the attacker... and yet if the char gets hit by a monster it will start auto attack back :S |

Then maybe classify the unit as a worker.... but then you have the problem of the "idle workers" thing. |

i don't think this is a good sulotion to the problem.. isn't there anything in the game play constants? |

And if you use the unit as a worker you'll get the idle worker icon, but there is a solution. If you add the classification by triggers the icon wont appear. If your unit is a hero make sure to remove it and add it again if the hero respawns. I think i've also heard that you can disable it via adding devour cargo ability. |

Note that workers will still retaliate against workers, if I remember correctly? |

you could change the allies of the owning player, treating his enemies as neutrals. then you catch every "smart" order that was being ordered towards them, and change it into an "attack" order. however, this has a lot of ugly side effects, like changing the color of "enemy" units from red to yellow, etc |

Oh cool it worked.. but now from each hit he start running away XD well i dunno what's more annoying but anyway i give it a try.. and also after the player choose a hero it's doesn't show the worker icon but after he dies and come back to life it shows.. but no biggy :D Thx |

you have to disable the can flee flag on the object editor iirc |

An alternate method is to add a Permanent Invisibility ability with -1 fade time and "auto attack" or whatever turned to false. |

that should solve your problem. then, you should check what grim wrote, that workers retaliate against other workers, meaning if all your heroes are workers, they will hit each other back...(if this is true, anyway) |
