Oziris's 2009 Terrain Gallery

Hello, it's been a long time since i have been here. I would like to present some terrains that i was doing during the summer brake

Description:

At a cold and freezing winter session, a powerful Wizard rests in his Castle on the highest Tower.

A small Tribal Scout Camp, it's lost in the Barren Forest, wondering and hoping to find someone like them.

A barrens Village in the high mountains of the barrens. The full moon is shining, and the stars are hoping to find peace from the wars that stood on the land of the orc's and tauren's.

In a modern time when helicopters existed...a time where humans fall before the power of God.

The serial killer of the rose's, he has been wanted for 7 years. No one can find him. He lurks in the forests where he kills the people who are tress passing on his land.

A small miniature work that a human built, he feels like he's a Major but only a hard working man on a farm in real life.

I really like the sixth picture. In my opinion, that was a really cool idea! The rest of them were nice too :D.

Awful. I know it was for contest, but I really dislike everything there. Its plain, poor and not fitting.

I didn't stole anything so don't bother looking for clues. But ^^ i have to admit i got the helicopter idea from Megafyr from the Hives Miniature contest.

For Anachron:

1. I know the the Wizard terrain is plain, but what can i add on snow if the snow already covered most of the doodads :/

2.I did the Tribal really fast, didn't expect anything from it, but it turned out good.

3.The Barrens Village got the name from the doodads that i downloaded from XGM models, the doodads i used in the terrain don't look good together, but the idea is nice in my option.

4.As i said the helicopter idea isn't stolen, but rather yet got an idea from Megafyr :P

5.Yea, i always wanted to make something like that, so i finally did :)

6. Hmmm....I really like the big barrels behind the guy :) looks like in films for some reason, Poor? :( I have to admit to myself that it does look poor when looking in details because the houses and so called mountains of mine look bad.

I thought Belgarath (Jack-Shepherd) was the first one to use the helicopters and those trees.

When i think better, i think i saw his terrain with a helicopter. I don't really remember him using these exact trees, but i remember the helicopter.

He used the same trees.

:0 Damn, but seriously didn't know. I was looking xgm, and i said: This will be a wicked terrain when i use these trees ;)

I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm just saying that Belgarath had a similar idea.

i really like the minaturen screenie. Very nicely done. keep up the good work.

Pretty nice terrain work there indd, specially the last one.

Keep in mind in the third picure. try to avoid using random grass, atleast adjust the texture to the doodad you are placing on top of it.
