So, the maximum map size is too small for me I figured it would be somehow possible to make it bigger, the question is: what are the downsides? Will it leak? Will some strange bugs appear? It's just a singleplayer map, but still |

What is the maximum map size? I know that on B.net it's about 8mb (with the new patch), but I wasn't aware there was one for singleplayer maps... |

do you mean size as in filesize, or in terms of map size, like 128x128, 96x96, etc.? |

Creep fails outside the normal max size. Custom editors can get it up to 512x512 I think. |

Yes, map size, like 128x128 Quote:
W8, so creeps fall when it's more like 256x256, or when it's more than 512x512? |

Just make everything 50% smaller and you get a 50% increased map size. Quote:
Is this really true? |

So I've heard, that is. During the discussion for 1.23b and 1.24 I read that Blizz had increased the max map size on B.net to 8mb (because Icefrog wanted it). |

When it's more than the biggest normal one I think; maybe 256x256. Certainly smaller than the biggest you can make with a custom editor. |
