Is there any way to...

...set an animation tag "globally" for a model via triggers? (No, that's not a unit model, so no Object Editing for now :P)

Example: I want a model to always be shown in a way (using animation tags) for a player during the entire game...

Is there a system, function or something that I could use to achieve this effect?

Try a custom model? You'd only need to rename the animations.

Alright, I guess I have to be more specific.

What I want to do is another attempt at using a custom UI. Now, as you all know, there can be used only 4 model-groups for the UI (interface, cursor, AoE target etc.), but if there's a way to change the current animation for those models, since they're still models and so they use animations to be shown, there could be more than 4 UIs avaiable in a map.

At this point, since there haven't been a lot of replies, I guess there are no methods to do that...

Props for trying, Anitarf.
