Ok, since I can't decide on the hero name (hard task for this one), I ask support from the wc3c people... let the democracy do the job :D

Obviously, the one that will get the most votes will be used.

Informations about this hero can be found in this thread.

Current spells:
1. Decrepify
(0% done)
Single-Target Active ability which "decrepifies" the target unit (enemy or friend), dealing [55 x (Level of Ability)] damage (55, 110, 165). This life is "sapped" and returned to the "Death Knight", healing him for an equivalent amount.
If a friendly summoned unit is targeted, after draining life it will Explode, dealing [100 + (20 x (Level of Ability)] damage (120, 140, 160) to enemies within 280 range.
2. Army of Darkness (100% done)Targets an area (200 AoE) and summons up to 3/4/5 random skellies, they are permanent, but lose life until they die.

Skeletons: (every one has got its role)
Marrow Guard = modified green Skeleton Warrior (all-rounder melee fighter)
Bone Fletcher = modified blue Skeleton Archer (all-rounder ranged fighter)
Exhumed Berserker = modified red Orc Skeleton (slow, sturdy melee fighter)
Consumed Arcanist = modified yellow Skeleton Mage (anti-melee, fragile ranged fighter)
3. Aura of Decay (100% done)Decays enemies and heals friendly summons.
U. Whirlwind
(0% done)
Either this:
* Damages, slows all of the units in the area and Interrupts all orders given to nearby units (only some of them randomly (let's say that they have a "Fortitude Save Throw" or something :P)) these affect every unit, no matter if enemy or friend.
* Becomes stronger (on summoning only) based on # of nearby corpses (from 0 to 10?)
* Casts "Raise Dead" on nearby corpses (random skellies here too)
* Wanders randomly and is Channeled

Be quick, I'll leave this opened for 4 days... since now, GOGOGO!!!

Are dead yet?

If he attacks a unit/hero with HP<=x, he'll have a chance to deal (maxHP-HP)*y bonus-dmg (chance increases, when "death knight"s HP decrease
If unit dies cause of Are you dead yet? heal caster by z*maxHP of unit
If hero dies cause of Are you dead yet? place a buff on "death knight", increasing his maxHP by z*maxHp of killed hero for k sec

Thanks. I appreciate your spell suggestion, but as you may know, this hero is a remake of an old wc2 caster unit (the advanced caster for the orcs, actually), so its skills are picked from wc2 too and adapted for a hero unit. If you never played warcraft 2, let's say it's like a mix of Necromancer/Death Knight (the wc3 hero this time) skills + Archmage's stats. Yep, a ranged death-themed (badass) caster, I love that concept

Though, there's no wc3 soundset that can match the awesome one he had in warcraft 2... :'(

Dark rider. Sounds pretty nice AND pretty much correct lore-wise. Or, Ghostrider(of Karabor). Same as the other one.

Archmage Owenalacaster
I voted Grim Rider. Is this the "class" name or Proper Name? I assumed the former.

Well, calling a Death Knight "Dark Knight" is pretty much unoriginal, also, that's the class of Garithos... and I hate Garithos :P

I'd love to use Ghost Rider, but...

Yes, the former. I wouldn't need a poll in the case of the latter.
