I want to make a hero skill meditate whereby the hero goes into a trance and regains hp quick, but is immobile for a while. I was thinking that stone form would be a damn good base for this spell. Since the character using it would be some version of the blademaster, and the blademaster has that animation where he sits down and meditates, I was wondering if i could change the form changing to have him sitting via that animation for the duration of the spell. |

Yes, you could do that with triggers in addition to the .slk manipulation. In the .slk set both forms to the blademaster. Then have a trigger that when the player activates the stone form ability, the specified animation is played. Eg: Event - Unit is issued an order with no target Condition - (Issued Order) is equal to Gargoyle Form (You may need additional conditions, but it should work fine without) Action - Play (Ordered Unit's) stand cinematic Animation You may/may not need to put the second trigger in for when the ability is deactivated to return the unit's normal animation sequence. ~kharma |
