Basically I need ideas for:
- Bloody Aura (Building ability)

I need Icon suggestions for:

Chaos Combination
- Description: A mix of the Chaos Berseker with the siege unit. This new unit is very good against buildings and air units, but weaker in melee combat.

- Abilities: Get Out (allows to separate the units again)
Fel Rider
- Description: Counterpart of the Orc rider, fast and deadly, specially good to harras. Can learn Devil's speed.

Fel Kodo Beast
- Description: Counterpart of the Orc Kodo Beast. Weak as a ranged unit, but excelent in support. Has devour and can learn Battle Transe.

- Description: Ward casting unit made to be a dark counter of the Orc witch doctor. Can first cast "Draining Ward" which drains hp from enemy units near the ward. Can Learn "Soul Ward" and "Dark Stick".

Fel Seeker (need better name)
- Description: Spellcasting unit made to be an alternative to the xaman. Can first cast "Firebolt" which damage and stuns enemy units for a short duration of time. Can learn "Burn" and "OnFire".

Corrupted Wyvern Spirit
- Description: It is supposed to be as usefull as the undead ghost unit but it should be a born scouter.

Red Dragon
- Description: Might Air unit that has devour and is magic immune. Can also learn Drafon ability 1. (do you think that a flying unit with 3 abilities is too unbalanced? I think it is =S )

- Description: Allows some Fel orc units to carry items
- Tier: 1
Chaotic Rage

- Description: Everytime a Fel Grunt, Fel Rider or a Fel peon attack an enemy unit, they have a chance to cause the attack in Chaos form to the enemy. The chance to attack in Chaos form is 1% per 2% of hp missing.
- Tier: 2
Bloody Aura
- Icon: Need one
- Description: Creates an aura around chaos buildings. Units within this aura will have bonuses (need ideas).
- Tier: depends on the awesomeness of the aura
Inner Flame
- Icon: turn on immolation
- Description: Allows Fel Grunts to make a powerfull roar that will increase their armor depending on the number of allied Undead or Chaos units nearby. Maximumm armor bonus is 5.
- Tier: 2
Inner Burn
- Icon: turn immolation off
- Description: Allows Fel Bersekers to make a powerfull roar that will increase their attack depending on the number of allied Undead or Chaos units nearby. Maximumm attack bonus is 7.
- Tier: 2
Driver's License
- Icon: Load unit
- Description: Allows Fel Berserker to ride a Chaos Cart, thus forming a new unit with a siege attack against buildings and stronger against air. It is however weaker in combat.
- Tier: 2
Chaos Warmage Adept training
- Icon: Tome Book 1
- Description: Allows Chaos Warmage to cast Soul Ward. Soul Ward summons a skeleton from a corpse eveytime a unit dies near it. Also and increases their attack, mana and mana regeneration.
- Tier: 2
Chaos Warmage Master traning
- Icon: Tome Book 2
- Description: Allows Chaos Warmage to cast Dark Stick. Dark Stick decreases enemy units max hp by 2% and slows their movement speed by 20% as well.Also and increases their attack, mana and mana regeneration.
- Tier: 3
Fel Seekerk Adept training
- Icon: Roar item 1
- Description: Allows Fel Seeker to cast Burn. Burn burns all enemies in the target AOE for 3 hp/sec and decreases their armor by -2. If a unit that is being burned dies, it will explode and the effect of Burn will go to all enemy units near it. It also dispells magical buffs.
- Tier: 2
Fel Seeker Master training
- Icon: Roar item 2
- Description: Allwos Fel Seeker to cast OnFire. OnFire gives allies units +3 damage, increases hp regeneration, a fireshield that damages enemy units by 7 hp/sec and a fire AOE attack as well.
- Tier: 3
Skeletal Unholy strenght
- Icon: Champion Orc skeleton
- Description: Upgrades the skeletons summoned by Soul Ward, making them stronger. Their life time does not change.
- Tier: 2
Ward Longevity
- Icon: (need one)
- Description: Increases the life time of wards from the Chaos Warmage
- Tier: 3
Devil's Speed
- Icon: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/r...ist%26page%3D9
- Description: Allows Fel Riders to gain 2% extra movement speed per each allied Chaos or Undead unit nearby. The Fel Rider also loses his path size, so he can move through units. When doing this, if he moves through a unit, that unit get slowed by 20% o his speed for 5 seconds. Has a maximum stack of 25%. Lasts 15 seconds.
- Tier: 2
Battle Transe
- Icon: SelfMade
- Description: Allows the Fel Kodo beast to have an aura that increases allied units hp by 3% and attack speed by 5%.
- Tier: 2
Mindful Spear
- Icon: (need passive Icon)
- Description:: When the Rider damages a unit, it poisons the mind of the unit, making it lose 4 mana per second (it is like poison ability but with mana. The chaos orcs like dispelling and anti-caster abilies, so this is a good one). If a caster with Midful spear casts a spell, he also loses adition 5% of his mana. When targeted on Summoned units, it poisons thier sould making them take 33% extra damage from all sources. Lasts 30 seconds.
- Tier: none, comes with the unit
Fire Forge

- Icon: not decided yet
- Description: Allows Chaos Orc towers to be surrounded with fire. If an enemy unit gets to close to the tower, it will start burning, losing 7 hp/sec.
- Tier: 2

Burning Arrows

- Icon: Priestess of the Moon Fire Arrows
- Description: Allows Chaos Orc towers to fire burning arrows, causing targets to burn for 10 seconds, losing 7 hp/sec.
- Tier: 2

Fel Fury

- Icon: Need one
- Description: Gives the dragon a chance to set a unit on fire when he attacks one. The chances of doing such an attack are 1% per each 2% of hp missing. A unit on fire will lose 10 hp/sec.
- Tier: 3
Hell Gates

- Icon: Portal
- Description: Opens a Gate between the Spirit's position and the nearest Possession Core with Hell Gates upgrade ability made. The Gate takes 10 seconds to summon. If during the summoning the spirit or the gate die, the spell is canceled. Once the Gate os opened it will last for 20 seconds and it will allow allies to travel instantly from one end point to the other. Once the gate is opened the Spirit is sacrificed to mantain the Gate.
- Tier: 3

Bloody Aura:
Drains life from sourrounding enemies (like lifeleach) and give the drained life to all sourrounding friendly units; amount of HPgained depends on percentage of HPlost (less HP, more gain)

Btw, why do you think it is to normal? If you think you have good ideas for ladder races, please give some xD

As for the icons, I like 1st.

Youre using mostly normal orc buildings --> (I'd try something with the Graveyard abil (Remember Ikum-borkum's Racebulding-contest-entry))
some of your units are only evil versions of their orcis originals

for your chaos-race I'd:
- give them only a gold-harvest abil (NO LUMBER HARVESTER).They get lumber (=blood) by slaughtering enemys (lumber gained=X*HPlost of attacked unit)

- change Chaos Cart'S role to a scouting unit (fits better to model) with a overrun-abil (if unit moves forward: dmg and 45° knockback to everything in front of it)

- replace Red Dragon with a demon (using Doomguard-model) but with old abils {demon has lifesteal (frostmourne), looses HP when not in combat (negative HPreg) and costs lots of blood and some sacrifices}. Is trained at the altar

- all units have the sacrifice abil, allowing it to destroy unit and gain X*HP of destroyed unit as lumber (unit moves to the altar before sacrificed)

- if unit is sacrificed increase a variable ('Sacrifice') by level of sacrificed unit ('Sacrifice' is shown over the altar in red signs). 'Sacrifice' is used to revive heroes, train demons and increases your food

- if an enemy unit's (lvl of enemy unit < lvl of attacking unit; enemy unit is not a demon, or undead) HP <= Y, the enemy unit is given to neutral victim and moves to the next altar. If unit reaches altar, units MS=0, activated attacks = none, remove all abils from unit, owner of unit is changed to owner of attacking unit. Unit gains 'Sacrifice' (see point above) and 'Eat' (the demon with the lowest HP in a certain area around Unit gains Z*currentHP of Unit, Unit dies). If altar dies, units will be released and regain everything.

- i'd give them more 'demonic' abils (less fire more blood)



Also a nice idea for an aura:
<Dont know any useful name>

If an unit is damaged, heal unit with aura for x*damage taken

That's because I don't have enough space to afford importing a new building for each Orc construction. Also I want to make this as similar to the lore as possible, therefore it is quite natural that most Orc Buildings will be used.

I am aware of the graveyard ability, I just make no idea how to use it. You may have not noticed yet, but artwork is not my strong point, codes are xD

My point is, I value originality, but this also needs to share some stuff with Orcs + Ud.


Also, your race resource system is completely "new" and it wouldn't fit other races such as Humans, per example. I would need to change the interface for 1 player, and that can't be done. (It would be weird to have a tree representing blood ...)

therefore all basic bulidings, units, upgrades have to cost 0 lumber

Tree representing blood can be used by using an icon showing a tree and a phiole of blood. And why do they have to use the same stupid ...<removed>... standard ressource system??

As for the Burrows and The Kodo, I agree. I am looking for new abilities / uses for them, but I can't think of any.
For the Kodo, the aura will be quite unique and good. However I fear it may be unbalanced. I also don't know if it should have the devour ability.

You should try and make this as little as the Horde as possible. Also, Corrupted Wyvern seems like a lame idea why not a Nether Drake?

Also, I think you should have fast fel beasts that can use an ability that gives temporary vision over a target unit, and they could be anti-magic as well.

So far the anti-magic unit I have is the wind Rider. Although he doesn't dispel spells, it is an anti-caster unit. But I really need something more...

Fel Peon --> Slave: can't be trained, are summoned for every enemy worker killed (??1??2?? starting units); have no attack and can be sacrificed or eaten; have harvest-abils

Fel Kodo --> .................................................................................................... .................................................................................................... .....................................................................
Fel Burrow --> .................................................................................................... .................................................................................................... .....................................................................

why? every player could see a tree and a pile of blood (or a bloody tree; don't konw) ... it's only a prob of chosing the right icon

Mmm, you know what happens when you fight Orc vs Ud ? You get a BM in your base killing all your acos ... If that is bad against Ud (and some people believe they are overpowered) imagine against Chaos Orcs. You would in the game in a matter of minutes.

Got an idea for Fel Kodo and Fel Burrow:

<need name>
Model: Fel-Orc Kodo-Beast

Icon: ??

Basically: producing food, weak/medium defensive ranged, support caster

Abils:
- "Feed": (like Cannibalize) eats the nearest enemy unit, matching lvl of unit<=x and heals the caster for y*HP of eaten unit
- "Wardrums": (Aura) reduces dmg of enemy units, increases dmg of own units
- "Bloodcry": (like Roar) Causes all friendly units to attack without any mercy, increasing their dmg, AS and MS, but also all damage taken; all enemy units will flee in terror; damages (??or even kills??) the caster
- "<need name>": (self-buff/morph) increases the AS of the caster, giving the caster a critstrike-abil and increases caster's armor; set caster's MS to 0, disabling all abilities, takes x sec to get in/to leave position

Upgrades:
- "<need name>": requirement for following upgrades, enables attack
- "Bloodbath": Increases AS, dmg
- "Wardrums": enables the Wardrums-abil, disables "Bloodcry", "Feed"
- "Bloodcry": enables the Bloodcry-abil, disables "Wardrums", "Feed"
- "Feed": enables the Feed-abil, disables "Bloodcry", "Wardrums"
- "<Need name (same as last abil)>": enables <last abli>
