Name of the skin: Golden Maul Author: XS-Archangel Picture: File: Medivh.blp Description: Firstly I've started this skin as Darth Maul, but then I realized that it would be really to skin it to be like original Maul, so in this case I can say that I was "inspired" by two versions of Darth Maul: first one regular, Zabrak, and second after he was sliced in half by Obi wan, later in Star Wars universe he is mentioned like cyborg :) Skin is 100% freehanded and it took me couple of hours to do it. Give credits if you use it in your map :) Import the skin to the following path: Units\Creeps\Medivh\Medivh.blp |

As I said I tried to make it original darth Maul but at the end, it is only "inspired" by Darth Maul, his face and lightsaber :D |

There is too much plain gold in the body, I´d get rid of the gold in the pants and make something cool with that thing in his shoulders. Besides that it looks pretty cool. |

Don't forget - you need to attach an ingame shot as well as the posed one. Theme-wise, I know nothing about Star Wars beyond the movies, so I guess I'll leave that to the resident experts, whoever they may be :P The shoulderpads need work - zoomed out, they become a big blob of yellow. They're quite a dominant part of the model so it really stands out. It would be a good idea to put another colour in there to contrast, maybe some of the red or blue you've used on other parts of the texture. The cape is a bit bland too, it's a single block colour like the shoulderpads and it even seems to have the same alpha as the original skin. |

I'll try to change colors, I also think that there is too much gold. Shoulder needs more details, I was uninspired in that area. Also, some comments about shadings, details? |

The details are nice but the wrap screws around with them a bit. I really like the style, especially for the hood. You should do something about the inside of the mouth. I bet the portrait looks weird. |

I don't like that blizzard put head surface for skinning so big (maybe because of portrait in-game), and the rest, more visible fragments, so small, such as chest. |

To complain - He's just too damn bright/mono-chrome. Personally, I'd tone down the yellow especially from his torso/upper legs and perhaps put something else there entirely. This aside, it's a damn nice skin. |
