Church Organ

A model I made because I was amazed at how awesome it is to play organ (I played it in a cathedral here, it is super intense and super amazing). So, I just had to make it. The one I played had 180 pipes, but that was too much to model (would take too many polygons). So I made it like this, pedals and keys are pretty much the same.

Request: Can someone make an in-game screenshot? I don't know if it even works in game, but it should, what you see is a magos shot of it.

EDIT: Uploaded each part of the organ in one model.

How many polies is it?

Around 1.400. But I don't think you're gonna have ten organs on screen at once :P

This looked so awesome that I tested it, and it looked pretty much the same in-game (it's supposed to I guess but whatever). I also like it because it doesn't take up that much space :D Here are two in-game screenshots for you.

This is cool. I suspect it was intended as a doodad, since I doubt you animated it beyond stand. It is hella way more detailed than it should be and there are lots of places where polies could be shaved with virtually no effect on the way the model looks in-game. You should really consider going over it a bit.

I think you could get away with a tiny little custom texture for the keyboard instead of modelling the ivories. Probably the same for the large pedals, an alpha plane.

Also, made additional stand-alone pipe-rack doodads that can be combo'd to create mapes entirely consisting of organ.

Nice!
Would be better if the organ and the stool were separated imho.

Back could'a been like . . . 10 polies, and wouldn't have noticed with in-game cam.

Still, does look pretty awesome.

Textures\CityStructures.blp, it's not exactly note sheet, but you don't notice it from afar. Oh, and also, I got an idea to use those textures from your church/whatever pack, that had benches and stuff like that, so thank you :D

Rejected due to level of detail being too high. Reduce poly count.

Moved to work in progress models.

Epic shit. Good for maps that use higher-resolution models, or just cinematics/terrains.
