Spell Editing Problem: Someone had this also?

Hey

Two of my spell do no more work. The first one is a true light edit that WORKED yesterday, but now no more. Everything is fine, but when I wanna research the ability, i lose my research point, but dont get the ability.. that means i can click 9 times on my holy light edit and then I have no spell, and it still researchable as lvl-1 spell.
This happens also to my Metamorph edit, when i was testing it the first time. - and I have no idea why.

What I found:
I added like 16 new Spells in the ability data but made only txt edits for the first 4. So in the editor show few skills up more than once... should make problems
I had a typo in the Meta Code, there was a "1" too much. But after I changed it, it still doesnt work. And it doesnt explain holy light edit missing. (After i worked once)

Someone had also a problem like this or could maybe help me?

Maybe it has something to do with the way the skills were coded in the AbilityData file. I've noticed that even the slightest syntax error (I use Notepad/Wordpad), such as a carriage return (empty line), can mess things up badly for me. Perhaps when you went and added the other skills something got added/removed that wasn't supposed to?

Other than that, don't know what to say to you other than maybe post the code (from all 3 files, the AbilityData, the ...Func.txt, and the ...strings.txt). :(

hey i had this same error when i was doing custom spells

check you code and alias and uberalias in both ability data and in [Race]AbilityFunc.txt and [Race]AbilityStrings.txt and also be sure you dont have double entries of your spell in your Func and Strings files.

thanks man, I found it... in the ability data these to spells had a 1 SMALL letter that had to be big ..........
