I started a new singleplayer map :)
It's called Power suit

Story
The world is dominated by alien robots and human kind is reduced to small remnant group hiding in bunker.
Any human technology outside bunkers are hacked and controlled by evil robots.
The outdoor world is filled of robots and any living being adventuring outside bunkers will be instantly detected and obliterated by patroling bots.

Fortunately Human scientist develloped a powerful weapon called 'Power suit'
Power suit are giant mech and unlike any other technology their not programmed by an AI but by a sentient being directly connected to the Power suit core.

Those sentient being are made of transgenic octopus with greatly enhanced cerebral capacities far more powerful than human brains.They are called Sigma.
However those little octopus with hypertrophied brain and atrophied tentacle and being aquatic animals are enable to survive by themselves and vowed to die without help of human.
Each Power suit is supervised by a Sigma.

You start your journey as Barrantz a Power suit pilot who recently lost Freddy his power suit sigma in a battle.
A new Sigma named Ned has been partnered with you.
However Ned is a young and unexperienced sigma and still unused to Barrantz.
But the commander imperatively need you for an iminent mission...

Features :
-Heavily customizable power suit with attachements.
-Every character will be represented in 'dude mania' style.
-Post apocalyptic lore.
-New dynamic battle system with lock on target.

Power suit can be equiped with :
-Head gear (helmet)
-Ranged weapon (right hand)
-Melee weapon (left hand)
-Boot gear
-Armor gear (chest)
-Reactor gear (backpack)

All featuring differents attachement.

Gear caractereistic :
Hidden information:
Head gear :
-HP +
-Armor +
-Lock on time (time it takes to lock a target)
Generator gear :
-Energy + (mana)
-Energy input + (mana regen)
-Can have a special ability (i.e mana shield...)
Legs gear :
-Movespeed +
-Minor HP +
-Can have a special ability (i.e dash, blink...)
Ranged weapon :
-Damage
-Missile speed (hight speed = harder to dodge)
-Reload time (attack cooldown)
-Energy output/shot (manacost)
-Recoil y/n ? (Recoil = can't move while shooting; No recoil = can move while shooting)
-Ranged damage formula : Damage + (Pilot skill/3)
Melee weapon :
-Damage
-Multiplier
-Energy output/strike (mana cost)
-Melee damage formula : Damage + Multiplier*(Combat skill/2)

Well I don't rly know Jass I'm not a scripter.
I use lock body part Chest.
I just renamed 'origin bone' to 'Bone_Chest' and It work like a charm.
Dunno if it's the best method.

The GUI command also accepts head for Bone_Head, so you could lock both to different facings.

It looks pretty bitchin'; but then again, what does Callahan do that isn't pretty bitchin'?

It is possible but I can't find a use of a second body part lock.
But it gave me an idea of a boss or enemy, It's a tank the the cannon turret will lock the target.

At the moment I'm looking for idea of gear caracteristics.Here's the current ones :

I'm looking for more caracteristics on heads and legs gear.
Caracteristics can be bonus (increase hp) or malus (energy consumption, weight )

That looks pretty cool, but the combat looks a little slow from the video. I'd have to try it to be sure, though.

I wish it could be multiplayer because on BNet is where is could really shine since the combat would be competitive.
