Hmm, first impression I got from this is "eesh, blurry".
With the lighting of the Dungeon tileset its stomach looks kinda meh.

But from further away I'm sure it looks pretty descent.

And the color scheme is really nice. Glad to see you use more saturated colors now. Hell, I'm glad you're still up texturing for wc3 as a whole.

There's just no substance to the texture. No coherence at all - at a glance from the in-game camera it is a red and yellow blob with practically no concept. I had to google search a shot of this lunatic thing to see the concept, and I feel that you could do a lot of work to bring it better in line with the image.

Bones could be visibly protruding from parts of the texture to give it a semblence of depth. You can use more saturated colors and much more lively yellows and oranges in the gut area to make it seem more "alive" and volatile. Also, I recommend making the loin cloth more noticeably a different color to set off the rest of the texture, right now it's a little bit bleh. Also, the eyes should have a pupil that looks maddened (It'd be visible in the portrait) to match the concept better. I also feel like making the weapons look more reflective and as though they're giving off a glowy aura would do wonders to make it look more lively.

My biggest problem with the texture is that it isn't alive at all. The colors don't jump out at you, you don't get the feeling that it's going to explode or do something crazy. It's just too dull. With a bit of work it could definitely be up there, though. :)

Main complaint is that the yellow is far too flat, and the weapons are 'boring'.

The colors are all really bland. He looks like a moving pile of salmon jello with bright gold blobs.

It's time someone made the abomination into a plant. Unrelated comment.

The quality of the texture itself is adequate, but the product delivered lacks flavor. I could see this get accepted upon further iterations, though.

In other words, work on it some more, and it'll make it.

This would look far better if you darkened the orange and made it more red and brightened the yellow and the orange around the yellow to make a better glowy effect... so much better, im sure it would be accepted....

A crazy eye would be amazing...

I think it needs more contrast; it looks almost like it's made out of butter or cheese right now :P

By that I mean it needs darker, more saturated shadows and stronger, brighter highlights if you're following the reference. This would be a good opportunity to really consider the lighting from the yellow globules and how it interacts with the other surfaces.

And yeah, like Dusk says, needs moar crazy.

Thanks guys. Does this look any better? I was just kind of messing around with really dark and some really light colors and slapped it on there. I'm not really sure if its better or worse, but I think it's worse xD

Tend to think it's actually better.

Well that's good. I'll refine this version then (because right now I just kind of crapped it out)

You could really do with some more saturated and intense reds. You're kind of dulling them all out while you beast up the yellows and oranges. The weapons also still look very generic. I like the mad-eye.

Definitely looks better, but I would add more details. By that, I mean minor things; like how on armor, there's trimming, or on a cape there's fringe. I feel like the skin needs some minor details here and there, because right now it just seems like a blob of orange, red, and yellow; a shaded blob, but a blob nonetheless. For example, the 3 yellow streaks above his belly.

And I agree with Dusk; the weapons are rather boring.
