Protection of coloring from SetUnitVertexColor

Hi,
I would like to create a special effect via AddSpecialEffectTarget on an unit. At the same time, when using SetUnitVertexColor on this unit, the normal coloring of the effect shall remain. It changes in case the parameters for SetUnitVertexColor differ from the start colors set in the unit editor.

I have not found an option to suppress this editor-side, so i ask whether the models or textures can provide such a property.

I am aware that particle effects are not influenced by the recoloring but is it possible to exactly clone a model graphicwise with particle emitters?

I do not care about team color.

I want to indicate groups of units ingame by it. That is why the colors should be preserved.

AddIndicator is not influenced by the unit's state but, yet, I could not manage to change it by the three entries in interface editor, the blinking and probably also the destruction do not seem to come from the model and I actually want to keep the normal selection graphics.
