So I read the patch thread and it just says maps need to be fixed but I never see how. Most of my maps that I have been working on wont open anymore to play, they open to edit though, was just wondering if there was an easy way to fix or know what is breaking them. Most of my maps have custom spells from this site, so I'm guessing thats why, will the spells be updates soon? like the leap or knockback spells as I have some of those, mostly vexorian stuff. Im not sure how to tell which spell is causing the map not to open |

First of all, make sure you update any basic libraries you have in your map. All the most commonly used libraries already have versions out that are compatible with 1.24. Then, try disabling all the custom spell triggers, saving the map and testing it. If it runs, then the spells are to blame, otherwise there may be other issues, try disabling more basic libraries until the map runs. Then, enable them back one by one until you find the ones that are causing problems. That's just the general approach I would take, but it depends a lot on the type and amount of code you have in your map. If your map is using a lot of older, non-vJass code, then it sucks to be you. |

It might be that some of the spells would work again in 1.24b, when the new patch is released with the "return bug" fix. |

Hmm I tried downloading the new CS 16.0 so I can add that to my map thinking thats why my stuff was broken. Then I noticed even when I download 16.0 and just open the test map without changing anything I cant even play that. Alot of my custom maps just dont work, they open in editor, but when I try to play them it just does nothing like i click it, it scrolls up like it will start but never really leaves the choose map screen |

could it be my wc3? Like I said just downloading the cs 16.0 which says it works with new patch, I cant even get that to work, I dont even open it in editor or do anything to it, I just simply tried to play it to see if it would work and it don't |
