Hi everybody. Is there any way to have a model with a custom skin, but still have a model with the original skin in the same map? (sorry I can't phrase that better) |

Yes, you'd need to import a copy of the model with the texture paths edited so that it uses the custom skin (which should have a different name or path). You can do this either with Notepad or with Magos' Model Editor. In Notepad, open the model file (must be .mdl, there are .mdx-.mdl converters if you need them), scroll down to the part where it says "Textures" and rename the paths to something different (and don't forget to use that path when you import the texture). |
