I need help at the upgrade editing

I need help once again. I opened the upgradedata.slk with microsoft excel and figured out most of the columns, but i can't figure out effects and their values. For example how can i change the attack bonus of iron forget swords, or how can i change the priest's mana regeneration bonus in priest master training? if you could please give me a short, nice and clean tutorial of how to use the effcts i would be very grateful.

i belive most of that info is worked into the unit data inside the editor, never messed with it really so i cant help much.. I remember seeing defense bonus there, so i asume the other stuff is also
