Disabling Map Visibility-- After Map Modifier Region Triggered?

Ok, this is probably really simple. I don't know what I'm missing, lol. Basically, I have a cinematic that needs the whole map to be visible. Afterwards, you choose from a series of game modes, one of the options being the map visibility being on or off. I've tried disabling, destroying the enabled modifier displaying visibility, everything I can think of. So, how do I hide the map after it's already been declared visible?

You can make the map fogged/black masked just as you used visibility modifiers to make the map visible.

call FogEnable(false) to make visible

call FogEnable(true) to make dark again Oo
