Aerial Shackles and Engineering Upgrade

Ok, so I can't get a Mana Shield effect to replace the orange ensnare effect of aerial shackles (the effect applies instead to the caster rather than the target), and as for Engineering Upgrade, some spikes are coming out from the hero that learns it instead of other effect. I can add the FX ulteriorly, but how to I removed the spikes?

Can anyone help me with these?

For Aerial Shackles, check the Buff in the Buff Editor. That should be what defines the art on the target instead of the caster.

I did. I changed the target attachment and effect. but it still wouldn't create the effect on the enemy. The spell itself unmodified will create the FX on the enemy, but when you change the FX to something else, it creates it on the caster.
