Guest | Everybody has those starcraft characters (Zergling, hydralisk, marine, and that firebat orc thing) that come with the game in their maps. When I open them up in world edit I see that the under model used it says marine (for example), but if I wanted to make a character that had that model I can't just type "marine". The menu pops up and I have to pick one. I'm not a really good modder/hacker/programmer/whatever so I can't do anything too advanced. I also have a macintosh and I can't use any of the programs that are for download here. :bangH: |

Guest | go to the downloads section (on the top of page it says "downloads") and search for UMSWE. Then you can download it. |

No actually, you can't download it from the downloads section. Incase you haven't been reading the frontpage, the downloads section is down this month due to excessive bandwidth consumption and will be until a solution is resolved. So instead, go to http://www.umsmaps.com/cgi-bin/files.cgi and download UMSWE 3.6 - I'm not entirely certain however if it is compatible with a Mac. Most of the tool here are developed with a Windows OS in mind, so if it doesn't work you could possibly try the downloads section of either wcgalaxy.com or infoceptor.com I hope you can find what you are looking for. ~kharma |

Guest | I really wish I knew how. I am still trying to figure out stuff and I can't do shit on a mac as far as modding goes even tough I like my computer and it is fast. All of the programs that are out there seemt to be for windows. I will figure things out eventually. |

snookums: He was talking about Stereohead :gsmile: And DigimonKiller: I know that, what's your point? I mentioned to him that it probably wouldn't work with a Mac. The only reason I posted the link was because people were telling him to go to the downloads section when it wasn't working. I also know that infoceptor has a number of programs for warcraft3 that are Mac compatible, and thus he might be able to find something that helps. Why did you feel you needed to point out what I already knew? :ggani: ~kharma |

Guest | No one makes anything for macs. Why would they waste their time? I'm the only one here who has one! |
