How are all the WE mods made (I'm hoping to make one myself)? Oh, and I have a Mac.

Welcome to the forums Newfeet. I don't know anything about your capabilities and/or limits so I cannot help you at the moment. Check out the tutorials and the forums in general. There is alot of information scattered around here. BTW I don't think having a Mac will pose a problem.

macs are only a problem for MPQ editing and running my SEMPQ files for some people. Bascially you need to find an MPQ editor that works for you, or get all the txt and slk files from the MPQ files, then modify them to your liking and place them into the corresponding folders in your wc3 directory.

Does keeping files out of the MPQ work on a Mac? I thought that was only Windows. Ok, I'll try that sometime.

I have MPQ2KME, so MPQ editing is not too bad.

Also, what files in the MPQs should I edit? I want to include most of the functions in other WE mods.
