Actually I liked the marine with the war hammer. That was kinda unique. |

It's not exactly like I want it, because it still has the default Demon Hunter attack animations, which I dislike. I'd rather it use the "Spell - Throw" animation as attack. I tried to change it to that, but that just screwed up the walk animation and made him slide around. But thanks! |

Actually, the RoC orc warlock animations might work a lot better for the hammer marine. |

You should attach your images to the first post instead of linking to failshack. |

Following your advice, I tried making a marine with a warhammer using the Orc Warlock animations. Naturally I figured it'd fit perfectly, but in reality it didn't fit as well as the demon hunter animations. Smooth animations is part of it I guess. Also, the Demon Hunter animation looks awesome when he's running, I'm quite fond of them. However, I'll most likely make a melee marine based on the orc warlock animations aswell. Quote:
I was gonna do that after you said it, but then I realized I removed the "Spell - Throw" animation alltogether.. I'll probably redo the entire model at some point, since it was mainly a practice model at the time, which I've tried to perfect as I got better at model editing. Probably give him a human head rather than the default marine one. Quote:
Doesn't look as good!.. Or does it? I dunno. This is the same Layout I used for hiveworkshop. I didn't feel like changing it, hehe. I also added a new picture to the gallery, the LEGION Arc Trooper (Work in Progress). |

Anyways, I've never quite liked the pasted-together look models done like this have. I feel that custom face meshes and custom textures would increase the quality of these models tenfold. |

And it'd also increase the filesize of the models tenfold. I can texture, but I choose not to give them any custom textures because it'd make the models alot bigger in filesize. And I'm not sure I get "Custom face meshes". You mean models made from scratch? |

Faces from scratch. |

Unfortunately I'm not that very good at actual modeling. I don't know UV-Mapping and so on. |

You don't know UV mapping?! |

Okay, now I know UVW Mapping in 3DS max.. I've made a custom model and applied a texture to it, and I'll upload a screenshot of the finished unit once I'm done. It's never too late to learn.. Hehe. I'm also learning how to make animations from scratch, so that I can give my awesome units some custom animations. EDIT: Here's the new model (First post has also been updated with the new model picture) The Tesla Rods on his back have been modeled by me from scratch. Using in-game textures. Now to learn how to add particle effects... Sigh.. It seems so difficult! EDIT 2: Updated model. Added the Neck thing, whatever you can call it. Semi-circle with spikes on it. EDIT 3: Added teamglow.
