I'm searching for some answers regarding how to use Magos Model Editor to remove certain parts from models, particularly helmets, armor, and etc.

The tutorials listed at the top of this forum are all antiquated/nonexistant/not helpful on the topic/so forth.

If someone could give me sufficient directions or point me on my way to a valid tutorial/user who would help me that would be greatly appreciated.

Simple, convert the file to MDL and remove these things with the Vertex modifier.

Magos' Model Editor can't actually delete anything except whole geosets. Don't listen to anyone that says scale-to-zero-and-hide-in-the-body, that is a horrible horrible hack.

So if you're killing hero glow, or the model is convenient, you can ctrl+click in the 3D view to highlight the geoset in the geoset manager and delete it. Otherwise, it's got to be the Oinkertools.

Thanks RDZ. I'd give you rep, but I have to "spread it around first." >_>
