Ok, I've gotton pretty much all of my spells working except one. How can you make it so Divine Shield is a castable buff? I tried changing the target, didn't work. |

Its hard coded to not have a target and be self only. |

Really? I could of sworn I say it as a buff in an AOS game.. |

well when you use it you don't get to target anyone, it just turns on. You might try modifying potion of invulnerability, but i think that's the same deal. you could always do it with triggers tho. or maybe you could give every character an invisible divine shield ability with no mana cost and then have the "targetable" divine shield just be a spoof spell that does nothing. when you cast it on someone order the target to use their ability. Then voila, for all appearances it looks like you cast it yourself. some things to note: don't give it a hotket or it could get set off by accident put in a warning on the main spell that it will disrupt people if you cast it on them (like if someone is starfalling or bladestroming and you cast it on them they will stop doing that to cast divine shield on themselves) |
