I have been working pretty heavily on this map for the past couple months and its nearing the point where feedback and comments become useful. Also its imminent release for testing is near.

The Premise:
425B.C.E., Greece. Lead one of seven of the great city-states of Peloponnesus to utter domination over your enemies utilizing a vast selection of units, abilities, buildings and upgrades.

-Your general is the one of the main focuses of the game and a powerful tool for victory.
-Even if you lose control of all your cities, as long as your General lives, you can rebuild and reconquer.
-5 unique Generals to choose from.
-Unique foot-soldiers for each city-state
-Dozens of upgrades to strengthen your army
-Many ways to receive income: Taxes, Gold-mining, trade ports and conquering cities.
-Units are automatically recruited by cities periodically(can be disabled) as well as trained from buildings.
-6 neutral city-states to conquer and control.
-Fierce battles can be waged on sea and land.
-Food for your armies must be accumulated through capturing and controlling the country's granaries.
-3 ranks for normal units based on experience(kills) gained in battle. (Third Spear, Second Spear, First Spear.) Each rank increases the units attributes and endows them with abilities.
-A shrine designated for an Olympian resides in each major city-state, these shrines give aid to the controller through different abilities, often aiding in the city's defenses.
-Overall interesting and well created terrain.
-Purchasable weapons and armor for generals.
-Victory is achieved once one city-state controls all major cities.

There will be continual development over the next few weeks until I am ready to post the Alpha test version, at which point I will need people to volunteer for testing.

Here are some screenies to pique your interest.

Progress is moving along smoothly, I am currently finishing up the Soul Powers for the last two General Classes, Arch Sorcerer and Valkirye.

Anyone interested in being an alpha tester should either post a reply or send me a PM because alpha 1.0 will be available soon.

Here are some more screens.
